4th Quarter, 3rd year.
We had debates as projects.
The class was grouped into debate teams, each of which is composed of three members.
Since we were 43 all in all, (not divisible by 3)
2 people will have two groups. I dont know what was the basis
when Ms. Cedo chose those two peeps, although they had something in common.
They were both in the top 5. Mau is our numero uno (in what field, bleh?)
and Chili was our top 3 (wAS, coz Ogres conquered that spot after the first quarter.)
Wait. Top one and top 3? pano ung Top 2? Outcast?
It just so happens that I'm numero dos.
Bakit? Would I blame it to my... uh.. would you call it a group?
Masakit mang sabihin, masaktan man ang masaktan, I didn't feel like I had any groupmates at all.
Ok. First debate, understandable dba?
We haven't seen previous debates since we were the first ones to be picked.
As expected, it didn't turn out to be what you call a debate, it was hardly even an argument.
"This house believes Patricia suffers identity crisis"
That was our motion. Ung groupmates ko? Wala. Mental Block.
It was okay since our opponents ended up with the same fate.
Ok. Hindi siya recorded. We'll do better the next time.
Second debate. Opposition kami. "THB there is a trap in the story"
Good one. Alam ko kasi na may trap talaga.
Nakalagay pa nga yun sa book. Ang dami ko ng evidences.
I still remember my lines really well. Sabi don The girl (Elisa in the story) felt like she was an animal
howling for help and now she was freed from this trap.
Lakas nun. I thought we were winning.
Our opposition leader tried her best, although nothing really came clear
from her. Wala. Mental Block na naman.
Ako na, my duty was to present evidences to counter their claims.
I said when you are in a trap, you want someone to set you free since you
are not capable of freeing your self. (Trap was defined as a situation in which
one could not escape) And that was what Mr. Gabriel did. (Yep, kabisado ko pa, on-the-spot yan a)
He set Elisa free by saying "Run home Elisa, run home."
When you are in a trap, you feel different. You feel unsafe.
Elisa was trapped by her adolesce

Just read something about a man who hopes to be America's most intelligent man by reading the whole Encyclopedia Britannica. Well, nerdy it may seem, I am also interested in encyclopedias especially those compact ones... If only it wasn't that expensive.

New Doggie! +Bellina+
Just received another chain message in my ym account.
It was darn stupid. Way too annoying.
How come peeps believe in such things?
hmmm..
Would somebody send this:
I Love "put your name here" ! pass on If you love him/her truly.
may magfoforward pa kaya? Would it finally end these messages?
Okay lang sana kung tungkol kay Jesus or if it's for a good cause.. pero... ang may mamamatay? ikaw kaya patayin ko?
It has been hard for most of the laity to accept that Joseph Ratzinger is the new Pope Benedict XVI. His face is far from the mold of John Paul the Great's. Well, I'm not really talking about physical appearances.
Sorry pero I have heard long b4 that the pope after John Paul the Great would be anti-Christ. Scary. I do pray na sana hindi totoo.
Oh well.

last week, I received a phone call.
it was creepy.
guess who was on the other line?
( (0) I\l $ (_) 3 I_ (o) --- just hope you can decipher that.
who is she? she's none other than my beloved chemistry teacher.
what makes it unusual?
well, we ( my classmates and I) used to imitate her funny way of speaking.
we had the time of our lives by savoring the words syrindst *syringe* thext book, and even my name - marithurn.
we even had a video and a song - with stephanie imitating her.
again, those became instant hits.
one problem though, she was undoubtedly good to us.
no wonder we feel an unpleasant jolt of guilt inside our stomachs ( no difference to me, my tummy feels that way all the time)
Every time she writes her memos in the BLOGBOARD and lectures us about going to the MGDO, I do agree she does her job well.
okay, back to the phone call.
marithurn: HELLO?
marithurn: (nagulat kasi kaayaaya ung boses) a! mrs. cruz!
known: ui nakuha mo na ba ung card mo? e ung merit mo?
m: opo
and that started it all.. usap usap ung dad ko at ung asawa niya... hehe, may balak ata sila mag honeymoon part 2 ni syugern hanei niya e.

FUSSING ON NOTHING
i'm juz wondering why some peeps (considered brainy fer sum matter) waste their money on fortune-sucking review centers.
I've just noticed some poor blokes are seriously thinking mob mentality.
I mean, are review centers the fad among incoming seniors?
Does spending 6-11 thousand pesos on review centers guarantee a passing grade?
even our top one in class bloated she'll be wasting some 11 thousand on LSC...
sounds like crap.
if your one of these peeps, lemme tell you somthin,
if you dont have what it takes then you'll not make it.
thousands of pesos won't guarantee anything.
unless you'll be entering la s*ll* perhaps?
oh yeah... peeple at their are the very most intellectuallity of all at a universities. they is not true that they are spent a many of money for education. is school is very the best of prestidge. espacially in the basketbll gamings. money and coinage is not the matter in this.
p.s.
bakit ba ang mga tao pinagmamalaki pang magrereview center sila? you mean you'll be proud on the fact that you passed just because you spent your vacation on review centers? yan na ba ang uso? wow... sarap pala ng uso. ayon gagastusin mo pera mo para lang magreview. enjoy yun!

What’s with the Philippines?? There’s just too much of everything. Too much of politics, too much of showbusiness. For the past few days, puro FPJ. Open your tubes, there’s still FPJ. Nakakasawa na ang FPJ.
What’s this? It seems that some fools plan an uproar against the government. This time, they are planning to destabilize the government. Watak-watak na nga sisirain pa. They say they’ll have another people power. They want a complete change. Stupid people. If they would really want change, start from themselves!! Change should start from each citizen and not from the government immediately. Ano ba yan! They want to unseat Gloria. They want to change the government. America did not immediately reach what they are now. It took them hundreds of years to be what they are at present. One cannot expect prosperity from just 5 years! Mga FPJ supporters, I have a few words for you, HAVE A BRAIN!! One president said, Do not ask what your country can do for you, instead ask yourself what you can do for your country. Let us not only make this an immortal phrase, instead, let us make this a complete reality.
Just came from a YFC bonding.

Losing one dog... ouch. Losing two... painful. As if losing Chocnut was not enough. But not Potchi, too. We all loved those adorable pooches, and it was twice the pain to lose the dogs you care for, to lose the dogs you've always watched and played with. I miss everything- the sensation you feel when something smelly suddenly licks ur feet, when someone begs more food from you. No one would finish our leftovers, no one would destroy our garden and rip our shoes... the silence deafens me... no more barks and cries... truly their noise is much better than this melancholic silence.. (tama ba? what the heck, i dont care anyways).. We miss them......

The month of merry making and gift giving fast approaches. What can I expect? Time flies too fast. It's just too fast you wont notice things that come in your path. I've seen few (i'm grateful 4 dat) blocks only, but this one seems more of an iceberg. Yes, life flies with time, and you can't help but lose something, especially if its someone... someone you care about. No, i'm not talking about silly break-ups most teens are fearing of. I'm talking about losing someone as young and innocent as choc-nut. I remember the time when I first saw him. He was beautiful. He was blessed with silky hair (?balahibo?) with different hues of brown- light, dark, etc. You could not help but think of choc'lits. He had expressive, deep green eyes that seems to talk to you, as if he wanted to tell you something. Judging from his appearance, one would immediately name him Chocolate or Brownie or Poopoo. continue ko ito
